Goal tracker

Give your goal a number and a unit, like 30 lessons or 12 books, and add progress as you go. The tracker shows how far you are (“18 of 30 lessons”), what is left, and with a date, about how much a week gets you there. Up to 3 goals, kept on this device.

Free · No sign-up · Saved in this browser only

Example

Read 12 books

5 of 12 books

7 books to go

Add a goal

Your goal

What you will count

Up to 5 numbers on the way to the target, from small to large.

How the goal tracker works

A goal you can count

Pick what you will count (pages, sessions, hours, tasks, items, or your own word) and the number that means done. A goal with a number shows exactly how far you've come.

Add progress, today or this week

Add an amount for today or for any of the 6 days before, so a busy day can be logged later. Each entry can be removed if you made a mistake. The total only goes up when you add progress.

Milestones and a date

Up to 5 milestones mark points on the way, and they light up as you pass them. With a date, the tracker works out about how much a week is left to do: what is left, divided by the weeks to go, rounded up. When the date passes it says so plainly, and you can pick a new one. It never judges your pace.

Goals it doesn't track

This tracker doesn't take money, weight or body goals, or New Year resolutions. Type one and it shows a short note instead.

Where your goals are kept

Goals and their progress are saved in this browser only, next to any habits in the habit tracker, and never sent anywhere. “Delete everything” removes both.

Turn a goal into a daily habit

A goal says where you want to get; a habit is what you do on the way. A habit plan ties a small daily step to something you already do, and the habit tracker counts the days.
